The new Toyota Land Cruiser should debut in July or August 2020 and ship before 2022, although no further specifics are being provided as to the dates. Today, the company posted a few details regarding the engine lineup.

The next-gen Cruiser will ship with an assortment of six-cylinder, twin-turbocharged gasoline and diesel engines. It will most likely drop the current V8 over environmental concerns. To compensate, the new Cruiser will get the same engine as the latest Lexus LS, which is rated at 416 hp, as well as a hybrid powertrain. All versions will feature automatic transmission and AWD, the manufacturer reports.
