The tuner team over at Mountune has
launched an engine firmware tweak for the newest Ford Focus ST, which you can
install remotely via a mobile app.
The upgrade utilizes the same SMARTflash
approach the company used to boost the Fiesta ST. It includes adjustments for
faster and smoother gear switching with the gas pedal to the floor, adds some
bass noted to the exhaust soundtrack, and squeezes an extra 50 hp along
with 95 Nm of torque out of the stock 2.3-lter turbo.
As a result, the engine pushes out up to
325 hp and 515 Nm of torque to the wheels. What is also
important, you can always restore the factory defaults if needed.
