Honda Access has just unveiled a plethora of accessories for the 11th-generation Honda Civic Hatch. Starting at the front, Japanese buyers of the new Civic can have it equipped with a unique front skirt, black badges, and new wing mirror caps. Perhaps the most noteworthy available part is a pronounced rear wing that gives the car some added aggression without making it look like a Civic Type R knock-off.
Honda has also designed two
new 18-inch aluminum wheel options for the Civic, one of which is powder-coated
in black while the other option is painted in metallic gray. Shoppers can also
order black chrome-plated center caps for the wheels, LED fog lights, and
protection film across the side sills, door edges, door handles, and rear
bumper.
A host of accessories are also
available in the cabin of the Civic. These include lights that shine an image
of the Civic logo onto the ground when the door is open, as well as red/white
lights across the center console and cup holders, door handles, door pockets,
and side steps. Also available are a wireless phone charger, LED tailgate
light, and a luggage tray.
The most expensive of all the
available accessories is an 8-speaker Kenwood audio system priced at 59,400 yen
(US$ 540). It remains to be seen if these accessories will be offered in markets
other than Japan. We know that the Honda Civic Hatchback will hit the U.S.
later this year and be available with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 158 hp and 187 Nm, and a 1.5-liter four-cylinder producing 180 hp and 240 Nm.
