A limited-run variant of the Renault Clio dubbed the Lutecia Limited Edition has just been unveiled in the UK. The hatchback immediately stands out from lesser models thanks to a diamond black metallic paint scheme and brass-colored accents on the front grille, wing mirrors, front air intakes, side skirts, and rear bumper. A unique set of 17-inch wheels with this brass finish are also featured. The car’s name, by the way, refers to the Roman city of Lutetia which was the predecessor of present-day Paris.
The Lutecia Limited Edition
will be made in just 300 examples and is based on the Clio S Edition. This
means it includes key interior features such as ambient lighting and a
seven-inch digital instrument cluster and has also been upgraded with a
9.3-inch infotainment display with satellite navigation. Other key features
include lane-keeping assist, lane departure warning, active emergency braking,
and traffic sign recognition. Front and rear parking sensors are also featured,
as is a rear-view camera.
Auto Express notes that the
Clio Lutecia Limited Edition is powered by a 1.0-liter three-cylinder petrol
engine producing 89 hp and 160 Nm of torque with drive sent through
the front wheels courtesy of a six-speed manual transmission, with the 0-100 km/h sprint taking 12.2 seconds.
Pricing kicks off at £ 20,200
and deliveries are expected to commence in September.
