After three years in production, FAW has refreshed its flagship SUV named the Bestune T99. Most of the body details and lighting stay unchanged. The bumpers and the radiator grille were refreshed slightly, the DRLs were reshaped and new wheel options sized 20” and 21” large were added, but that’s about it.
Inside, the brand logo is new, the
infotainment system offers more features and the ambient lighting comes in 12
shades to switch between.
Like before, the Bestune T99 ships with a
2.0-liter turbo four-pot good for 224 PS. All-wheel drive is
not on the list. Going for a cheaper spec nets you a six-speed automatic
transmission, while the higher specs come with a superior eight-speed gearbox.
The top speed stays capped at 210 km/h, and the sprint time from zero
to 100 km/h can be 8.6 or 8.8 seconds depending on the transmission
type.
